Time Travel to the Future




I think this is a topic that I have never had a lot of interest in. I mean, why would I want to make a spoiler of my own life? I think it would be so boring because I wouldn't have any surprises about what is about to happen in my life, and for me these days are already monotonous enough not to have any surprises left. So if I have to pick a time that I would like to visit, I think that I would just travel to see if there's any world in the future, I mean, I would just go and pay a quick visit to know how much future the earth has left, so I can live my life in order of that. Obviously and because of all that I already said, I wouldn't stay there. I think that staying in another time is like wasting the life that's been given to us.

Changes to my Study Program

  Right now, I think I would change all the study programs that the university has adapted because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I'm terrified of what I'm going to do as a professional journalist.  First,  all of the subjects have been abridged because we have less time to pass the topics, so that leaves us with less knowledge. Furthermore, there are many subjects  that are fully practical and  haven’t been taught as they should, so we aren't able to practice all of the skills that we should be mastering. I understand that under the circumstances that we are, it is impossible to curse the career as it's meant to be, but especially the University of Chile have made the whole process a lot more difficult than it should. I say that because all of the other educational institutions are already working in a presential way, meanwhile we still aren't able to return efficiently to the normal way. My future job

  I dream about being an international journalist, and by that I mean, being a correspondent who is capable of capturing moments of world concern and democratize all the knowledge that I acquire about it. I think I would love to do an outdoor work as much as an indoor work, because I want to be outside searching for all the truths, and then go to an office to write about it or edit all of the media that I got, so I can tell people all the information that I learn. Since three years ago, I've been making my path to get there by studying journalism, but I want to continue my studies in a foreign university and specialize myself in audiovisual journalism. When I entered the university I wanted to specialize myself in politics, but in my years doing my studies, I´ve discovered that all of the work that comes out about it only arrives to the privileged ones, the ones who understand about politics. Songs and memories

I think one of the songs that triggers  my emotional mood the most is Mira niñita by Los Jaivas. Ever since I was a little baby, my mom has sung to me that song. I even remember that at the time I used to think that my mom wrote it for me.  One time in  preschool, one of my teachers was singing it out loud, I remember thinking to myself " Why does she know about the song that my momy wrote to me" I couldn´t believe that my mom was that famous, I was so proud to be her daugther that I said to my teacher " did you know that the song that you are singing was made by my momy and the lyrics are about me?" My teacher just laughed and said to me " wow, you have a super mom". I think she must have talked to my mother later, because when I went home she said to me that the song wasn´t hers.
